Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to every subscriber, every contributor added to a site, and all content published through the platform. Breaching it is a breach of the Terms of Service.

Using the platform for anything unlawful, or to promote, facilitate or arrange unlawful activity.

Operating a betting, gaming or money transmission service through the platform. OwnTheGame is for publishing sports analysis and predictions as content — it is not a place to take stakes, run a pool, or handle wagering of any kind.

Publishing to audiences in territories where the content you sell is prohibited.

Guaranteeing profit, describing results as risk-free, or implying that any outcome is certain.

Advertising a strike rate, yield, profit figure or member count that your published record does not support.

Presenting selective results as a complete record, or implying an endorsement, licence or partnership you do not have.

Publishing predictions after an event has started or finished while presenting them as having been made beforehand.

Editing, deleting or backdating settled entries so that the public record overstates performance.

Confirming a result you know to be wrong, or leaving losing entries unsettled to keep them out of the statistics.

Creating duplicate accounts or profiles to hide poor results, or moving losing entries onto another contributor.

Publishing invented odds, stakes or markets.

The public record is the core promise of this platform. Interfering with it is the most serious breach in this policy and may lead to immediate termination.

Payment fraud, laundering funds, or using stolen payment details.

Taking money for access you do not intend to provide.

Raising a chargeback against us without contacting us first.

Reverse engineering, copying or reselling platform code or functionality.

Attacking, probing or overloading the platform, circumventing the paywall, or attempting to access another subscriber’s data.

Sending unsolicited bulk messages to your members or to third parties from the platform.

Publishing text, images, video, data feeds or statistics you do not have the right to use.

Using another person’s or organisation’s name, logo, likeness or trade mark in a way that suggests they are involved with your site.

Claiming to be a tipster, analyst or brand you are not, or reselling another expert’s picks as your own.

OwnTheGame is software for publishing sports analysis. It is not a gambling service, it is not affiliated with any operator, and it must not be used to advertise or drive traffic to one.

Sports content is regulated differently in every market. You are responsible for identifying and following the rules that apply to your audience, including any licensing, registration or advertising code that covers what you publish.

You must not aim your content at minors, and you must not present it as advice to place money on anything.

Report a breach to contact@ownthegame.app with the site address and what you have seen.

We may investigate, ask for corrections, remove content, suspend publishing, or terminate a subscription. Serious cases — fraud, manipulated records, illegal activity — may be terminated immediately and reported to the relevant authority.

We are not obliged to monitor content, and reviewing a site does not make us responsible for what is published on it.
