Questions

Straight answers, before you pay.

Everything people ask us, grouped the way they ask it — what the product is, what gets built, who takes the money, how results work, and how it fits with the channels you already run.

Asked most often

“Do you sell predictions?”

No. OwnTheGame is publishing software. Every prediction on your site is written by you or your experts — we never publish, sell or supply them, and we take no share of what your members pay you.

  • You write the predictions
  • You confirm the results
  • You keep the members and the money

014 questions

What OwnTheGame is

The two questions almost everyone asks first.

Do you sell predictions?

No. OwnTheGame is software, not a tipping service. We never publish, sell or supply predictions — every prediction on your site is written by you or the experts you add. We have no view on your markets and no stake in your results.

Is this a marketplace where OwnTheGame promotes me?

No. You get your own website on your own domain, not a listing on ours. Finding an audience is your side of the arrangement; we give you somewhere worth sending them and the tools to convert them into paying members.

Do I need technical knowledge?

No. You never touch code, hosting, updates or servers. Your installation comes with a guided onboarding page and demo importer — choosing a demo and importing it takes a few clicks, and we walk you through connecting your domain, Stripe and channels. If you can use a web form, you can run the platform.

What do I actually have to do myself?

Publish. Write predictions and analysis, decide what is free and what is members-only, confirm results when matches finish, and set your membership prices. Everything technical stays with us.

025 questions

Your site, brand and setup

What gets built, who it belongs to, and how long it takes.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Connect a domain you already own, or buy one and point it at the site — we guide you through it. If you would rather start immediately, we prepare a ready-to-use subdomain and you can move to your own domain later without losing content or statistics.

Who builds the website?

We do, as part of the monthly price. You send your brand name, logo, sport focus and tone; you choose one of the available demos in the onboarding page and import it — with or without dummy content — to create the starting website yourself. The optional $590 Launch Setup does the import and personalization for you.

Is there OwnTheGame branding on my site?

No. Your logo, your colours, your name in the address bar. Nothing on the site tells visitors which platform it runs on.

How long until I am live?

Days rather than months. Steps one, two and four need you — choosing the plan, sending your details, and connecting your domain, Stripe and channels. The build in between is ours.

Who owns the content and the members?

You do, entirely. The predictions, the analysis, the record, the member list and the email addresses are yours from day one — including the day you decide to leave.

Payments and money

Who charges whom, and what we take.

How do members pay me?

Through your own Stripe account, connected to your site. Members subscribe or buy access on your pages, in your currency, under your business name. We never hold the funds and never sit between you and your money.

Do you take a percentage of my revenue?

No. There is no revenue share, no per-member fee and no per-post fee. You pay one flat monthly subscription for the software, and you keep everything your members pay you — whether that is €100 or €100,000 a month.

What can I charge for, and how much?

Whatever you decide. You can create up to ten plans: five period-based, such as weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-year or yearly, and five based on a number of predictions, such as 10, 20, 50, 100 or 200. Names, prices and currency are yours.

What does OwnTheGame cost me?

$39 a month today, rising to $49 on 1 October and $59 on 1 January. Whichever price you join on is guaranteed for the lifetime of that subscription, as long as you keep paying. Guided setup is included and there is no setup fee.

Can I pay in crypto?

Not yet. Card payment through Stripe is the only method today. Crypto payment is planned, but there is no date for it.

Can I cancel? Can I pause?

You can cancel at any time from your account — no contract, no notice period, no cancellation fee — and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. There is no pause option: you either keep the subscription running or cancel and rejoin later at the price of that day.

046 questions

Publishing, results and statistics

How entries get published, settled and counted.

Are results settled automatically?

No — you confirm them. Fixtures, teams and kick-off times come from real match data, but you enter the market, the odds and the stake, and you mark each entry won, lost or void when the match finishes. What is automatic is the maths: ROI, yield, win rate and your full history recalculate and publish themselves the moment you confirm.

Why not settle results automatically?

Because you stay accountable for your own record. One tap keeps the numbers accurate and unambiguous, and nothing is ever changed on your site by us.

What can I publish?

Single predictions, combos and long-form analysis, plus short members’ notes for late team news. Each piece is free or members-only, decided post by post, and you can schedule ahead or publish instantly.

Can several people publish on the same site?

Yes. Add unlimited contributors, each with their own profile, their own public record and their own following. Publishing roles and permissions are set per person, and members can subscribe to the brand or follow individual experts.

Can I import my existing history?

Yes — we help with that during setup, so your track record does not restart when your website does.

Can I export my data?

Yes, at any time. Your content, your record and your member list can be exported and taken elsewhere. There is no lock-in on the way out, which is the point of owning the platform rather than renting an audience.

054 questions

Channels and integrations

How the site works with what you already run.

Do I have to leave Telegram or Discord?

No, and you should not. Keep posting there — predictions can push to your channels automatically the moment you publish, and you decide per channel whether it receives a teaser or the full piece. The channels keep doing the reach; your site becomes the destination that holds the record and takes the payments.

Will members-only content leak to my channels?

No. Members-only stays members-only. Public channels receive a preview and a link; the content itself unlocks on your site once someone subscribes.

Can you integrate odds feeds or other systems?

Beyond the standard build, yes — third-party odds and results feeds, custom design work, white-label setups and higher-traffic infrastructure are handled as Enterprise projects, quoted after a conversation. Pro covers almost everyone without any of that.

Is the site any good for search traffic?

That is one of the main reasons to have one. Your pages are indexed, with sitemaps and social previews, so people can find you through search instead of only through a shared invite link — something a chat channel cannot offer.

Not covered here

Ask before you pay, not after.

If something about your setup is unusual — an existing site, an odd sport, a large roster, a specific integration — tell us and we will say plainly whether the platform fits.
